Juli’s passion for performance began at the age of three, and she has since honed her skills across a wide range of disciplines. Introduced to choral music in middle school, she quickly developed a keen ear for vocal jazz and complex harmonies. Throughout high school, Juli continued to push herself with increasingly challenging projects, including creating and teaching choreography for her high school show choir. Outside of school, she served as the lead vocalist for the 18-piece big band, the Swing Time Orchestra. Her growing interest in swing music also inspired her to learn tap dancing, a discipline in which she naturally excelled, thanks to her strong musical foundation.

Juli’s collegiate journey further refined her artistic abilities. She was a student choreographer for Citrus College’s Dance Company, a principal dancer for the world-renowned Citrus Singers, and a lead & backup vocalist for Citrus College’s pop/rock ensemble, Night Shift.

Her academic training in dance spans throughout jazz, ballet, tap, hip-hop, modern, musical theater, and ballroom/salsa. She has received extensive vocal training from Richard Kinzler, Kristina Keener Ivy, Keely Milliken, and Vonetta Mixson. In 2007, she earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Fine and Performing Arts from Citrus College. Additionally, Juli holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, and outside of her work with Top Billing Entertainment, she plays a key part in learning and development in a corporate role.

Since joining Top Billing Entertainment in 2021, Juli has taught both group classes and private lessons, in addition to choreographing for various musical theater productions and Top Billing’s competitive performing arts team, the Showstoppers. Pieces she has choreographed have received multiple ‘Excellence in Entertainment’ recognitions and numerous high point awards, in addition to earning Title and Title Runner-up achievements.

Juli has recently broadened her offerings at Top Billing Entertainment to include vocal lessons, specifically tailored to those with rock, pop, and jazz stylings, and is dedicated to helping kids unlock their rock star potential.
