Dancing since the age of three, Darla Hernandez has spent a lifetime expressing herself through movement. Starting in a preschool dance class, she quickly found her passion in Hip Hop and Latin Ballroom styles, blending rhythm, energy, and heart into every performance. Throughout her career, Darla has performed at major events like Ultimate Brawl, World of Dance, Vibe, and even took her talents to sea, performing for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line audiences. She’s competed in countless hip hop competitions and shared her love for dance as an instructor at studios all across Southern California. In 2013, she proudly coached the Upland High School junior varsity dance team, giving back to the next generation of dancers the same support she once received from her own mentor and role model, Coach Angelique. For Darla, dance is more than just art — it’s therapy, connection, and joy. She’s passionate about helping students find freedom and confidence through movement — and she’s ready to bring that same heart to TBE.
